Sunny Chattha

SChatthaSunny Chattha, 24 the youngest member of the Hit Squad has been playing poker professionally for four years. He has earned over $500,000 in live tournaments and won 2 major UK titles including a GUKPT.

Sunny was introduced to poker by his older brother Chaz Chattha who had been having great success with it. Sunny was studying Mechanical Engineering at University College London when he discovered ''The Gutshot'' poker club just around the corner. He spent more time here than he did at his lectures and improved his game very quickly. Sunny was too young to travel to the WSOP in 2006 with The Hit Squad but continued to improve back in London.

In November 2006, Sunny won a small satellite to The Northern Lights Main Event in Blackpool and in the first major tournament he had ever played, he captured his first title along with $94,000. The next day he left University and decided to become a poker pro. In 2007 Sunny won a side event at the London European Poker Championships for over $26,000.

The next year saw Sunny make it close in numerous GUKPT main events finishing 11th-18th on four different occasions. In March 2009 he broke his final table hoodoo when he entered the GUKPT Walsall final table as the dominating chip leader and proceeded to win another title along with $125,000. The few weeks that followed also proved to be a success as he finished 2nd and 13th at events during the London GUKPT for over $31,000 and also bagged a seat to play the most prestigious tournament of the poker calender - the $25,000 WPT Championship in Vegas and showed why he belongs to the most elite group of poker players in the world.
